The Filipino American Council of Ventura County kicked off the new year with energy and unity at our first meeting of 2026 on January 26!
We were honored to be joined by our delegation of Filipino-American leaders representing a diverse group of community organizations, including the La Union Association, Filipino Community of Ventura County, Inc., Deejay Basketball League, PinaySphere, International Cultural Association of California, Ilocano Association, Filipino Nurses Association, and the Philippine Center of Ventura County—all working toward a stronger, more connected community.
To launch another year of service and community support, the Council made a meaningful donation to DRAGG Inc., a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through education, mentorship, and career pathways in the automotive industry. DRAGG (Drag Racing Against Gangs & Graffiti) provides high school students with after-school automotive programs, hands-on learning, and mentorship opportunities that help keep them engaged in school and focused on future success.
