The Filipino American Council of Ventura County was honored to receive a resolution presented by the Port of Hueneme Harbor Commissioners, recognizing the month of May 2026 as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
This resolution recognized FACVC's meaningful contributions to our community and our efforts to raise awareness through outreach, education, advocacy, and cultural programs across Ventura County.
These efforts are made possible by the thirteen active Filipino American organizations that come together under the Council’s umbrella, working collectively to serve and strengthen our community.
Receiving the award for FACVC:
Katinka Baltazar, Press Relations Officer
Charleen Morla-Garcia, Executive Director
Ronald Arruejo, Parliamentarian
and Caleb Garcia, all-around Proud Pinoy 😊
Special thanks to the Port of Hueneme for this recognition and for acknowledging the service we proudly provide.
Maraming salamat!
